In the south of Istria, where the peninsula tapers to a point in the Adriatic, lies the small fishing village of Pomer. This is home to Little Dream – a holiday house with large glass fronts, a garden that blooms from spring to autumn, and a terrace where the evenings stretch on and on.

White shutters, warm stone.
Classic white shutters, Mediterranean plants and little details everywhere – you can tell straight away that someone furnished this place with a lot of love.

Doors open – let the light in.
Through the glass doors the garden almost flows into the house. In the morning the sun falls straight onto the tiles; in the evening the doors simply stay open.
Chapter 2 · The Garden
A garden that never stands still.
Lavender, rosemary, roses on the arch, pampas grass and old olive trees – the garden is the heart of Little Dream. With a lawn for walking barefoot, gravel paths, hidden seating corners and a small playground for children.

Living with a view.
The open-plan living and dining area is glazed all round. From the sofas you look out across the green landscape of southern Istria to the horizon.

Cook just like at home.
A fully equipped kitchen with an island and induction hob, coffee machine and plenty of worktop space – perfect for fresh fish from Pula market or truffle pasta from the hinterland.

Cosy in autumn, too.
For cool evenings in the low season there is a wood-burning stove. In summer the air conditioning keeps temperatures pleasant.

Chapter 4 · The Sea
Turquoise, crystal clear – and hardly anyone around.
Around Pomer and Medulin the coast is made up of pale limestone rocks, hidden pebble coves and pine forests. Pomer beach is 2.3 km away, and close by is the start of the Cape Kamenjak nature park – with some of the most beautiful swimming spots in Istria.
Chapter 5 · Evenings
When the sun sinks into the Adriatic.
Southern Istria is famous for its sunsets. Take a glass of Malvazija with you, sit on the rocks – and watch the sky change from gold to orange to violet. Afterwards, the lounge terrace awaits.
